Hello and welcome! My name is Andy Hanwell and I am professional golf player and instructor. Over the last forty years, I have been involved in various roles in the golf industry. Get to know a little more about me before you book your first lesson.

Journey, Experience & Teaching

After joining West Essex as a Junior member, I won all the junior competitions over a three-year period, and became captain in my last year at the club.

 

In 1982, I turned professional and became fully qualified in two years’ time, after passing the playing tests and my PGA exams. My performance during the examinations led to an interview for an assistant professional role at Sunningdale.

 

I have a reputation as a teaching professional who guarantees results, my standards having improved and developed over time. My passion for teaching is genuine, and I love the joy playing golf brings to my clients. The professional golfer/client relationship is a collaborative one, where once trust is gained, results and improvement are quick to follow.

7am until 7pm                                                                                               

Weekend

7am until 6pm

Payment is by contactless card on the ball machine, the only cash option is Medium basket from the proshop for £5.
